Lynne Perrie (7 April 1931 - 24 March 2006) was a Yorkshire based actress and singer.
Known as ''Little Miss Dynamite'', due to her vibrant personality, Perrie performed her cabaret act in clubs all around Britain, and in France, Germany, South Africa and the United States throughout the 1960s. In 1964, she appeared as a regular support act for the Beatles, and appeared on the same bill as other emerging stars like Sacha Distel and the Rolling Stones. She also performed eight times at London's Royal Albert Hall. On television, she made appearances on various television variety programmes, including ITV's ''Stars and Garters''.
In 1970, she won critical acclaim for her debut acting role as the neglectful mother in Ken Loach's award-winning film ''Kes''. This led to various television roles, including Mrs. Petty in the ITV comedy series ''Queenie's Castle'' (1970-1972), starring Diana Dors.
Perrie is best remembered for playing Ivy Tilsley (later Brennan) in the UK's flagship soap opera ''Coronation Street'', in which she appeared from 1971-1994.
After she left the ''Street'', Perrie returned to the stage with a new cabaret act and published her best-selling autobiography ''Secrets Of The Street'', appearing on many popular television chat shows to promote it.- Actor

A successful comedian in the Northern clubs for over 30 years, he made his acting debut in The Price of Coal in 1976, then in Coronation Street, All creatures Great and Small and Last of the Summer Wine. He was married with 3 sons and 3 daughters and lived in Barnsley where hews born and bred,.- William Joseph "Bill" Waddington (10 June 1916 - 9 September 2000), was an English music hall performer and comedian who was born in Oldham, Lancashire. In later life he achieved stardom as the pompous ex serviceman Percy Sugden in Granada Television's long-running soap opera, Coronation Street.
Waddington was born at Oldham on 10 June 1916, the son of a builder. He played the ukulele and became a member of a group called the Blue Pencils, recruited to entertain forces during the Second World War.
After the war "Waddy" became a comedian, often appearing on the same bill as Jill Summers, who would eventually play Phyllis Pearce, Percy Sugden's foil in Granada TV's Coronation Street. In 1955 Bill was chosen for the Royal Variety Performance, and when American stars such as Frankie Laine, Lena Horne, Billy Daniels and Dorothy Lamour toured Britain, he was the opening comedian in their shows. His agent was Lew Grade.
Waddington appeared in more than 800 variety and comedy programmes on radio, and made his mark on television, starring with Margaret Lockwood as early as 1946. In the 1970s he enjoyed a stage partnership with Sid James, only ended by James's death in 1976.
He appeared as a magician in Victoria Wood's first play Talent for Granada Television in 1979.
In 1995, he released a cover of "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" along with the rest of the Coronation Street cast, the single reached No. 35 on the UK Singles Chart.
Bill played his best known role of cantankerous pensioner Percy Sugden on Coronation Street from August 1983 until quitting the serial in October 1997.
In later life Bill became brother-in-law to the Chuckle Brothers when he married their sister Sheila. He died in Rotherham General Hospital on the morning of 9 September 2000 at the age of 84 after a 50-year acting career. He had been suffering from Parkinson's Disease.
